Our alfresco outpost of Giacomo Milano became an epicentre of Lake Como style more or less the day it opened. And no wonder: the views, the ebullience of the staff, the freshness of the fish and crustaceans. Everything comes together, irresistibly.
Easy, breezy, fabulous
Down here, it’s all about the pearly gleam of fresh crudi, the satisfying crunch of perfectly crisped calamari, whole seabass baked in salt, or a spaghetti alle vongole to spoil you for any other. All savoured with a chilled local white or—why not? It’s a(nother) beautiful day—a Hugo Spritz.
It's also a fabulous meeting of two quintessentially Italian families. One known for purveying Milan's finest seafood; the other for Lake Como's most vibrant and elegant hospitality. A match made in gourmet heaven, with lake views to boot.
